"“Amal” means “hope” in Arabic. “Solace in Amal” tells the story of Elhassania, a young woman who hopes to someday open her own business to support her family. Though shy and hesitant at first, Elhassania gains confidence through the Amal Women’s Training Center and Moroccan Restaurant, a non-profit organization In Morocco. Amal helps disadvantaged women gain work experience while rediscovering themselves, learning about their rights as women, and finding a path to success.
